About this experience

Giving Both Fingers to Nuffle III

The only tournament that looks Nuffle square in the eye and gives him the finger is back! What better way to show your disdain for Nuffle than bringing a friend along to roll 1’s with? This will be a pairs tournament and what kind of person you chose to challenge for the trophy will be even more important than if they snore in the AirBnB! Because you will have to chose a team from either the good, the bad or the dwarves, these choices are arbitrarily based on my own gaming prejudices so if you don’t like it tough. :) But you can’t just both chose your best teams oh no, because after 2 games you and your partners friendship will face a new level of challenge as you switch teams! Do you go full elf and pray to the bullshit gods? Or do you meta it with Zons and a filthy vampire list?

To show your love for each other you have been gifted with a TEAM reroll to share, when do you use it? Do you forget to use I (I’ve seen it happen!)? Will your partner take pity on you and allow you to reroll a GFI with it? A ceremonial curse at Nuffle must be heard clearly before using it!

Saturday 19th July 2025 hosted by Incom Gaming in the heart of Cheltenham, inside a fully licensed pub, food package available and parking nearby, what more can an acolyte of Nuffle want? This event is using the Euro 25 skill packs as well, so another great reason to join us and we will be handing out the GW glass trophy to the winning team to keep!

  • Each team has a total of 1,150,000 gp to spend on roster creation and must hire a minimum of 11 players. Any unspent cash at roster creation will be lost and all teams will be considered having the same Current Team Value (CTV) for the purpose of inducements and prayers to Nuffle.

  • Cash given is also used to buy rerolls, assistant coaches, cheerleaders, apothecary and so on.

  • This is a resurrection tournament, so no SPP are gained, and injuries, casualties or deaths do not carry on from one game to other.

  • Undead, Necromantic and Nurgle teams are allowed to apply the Masters of Undeath and Plague Ridden special rules. Players added to a team roster through a game as a result of those special rules are removed from the roster at the end of that game.

  • Teams will consist of a minimum of 11 players and a maximum of 16 players, including star players.

  • Star players can only be induced after 11 regular players have already been rostered.

  • Star players can’t be given extra skills from the team’s skill budget.

  • If both opposing teams are fielding the same star player in a game, both star players are allowed to play.

Painting/Modelling Requirements:

All models must have the basic 3 colours on them and be based.

All models must be clearly different from each other to show the positional on your team, we highly recommend if you are using a team that is not clearly recognisable to use the NAF coloured basing system.

If your opponent cannot identify your models with alacrity it makes a poor gaming experience for 50% of the people  in your game and they are quite within their rights to use bands or some other marking systems to identify them.

If you wish to use figures from a different IP please make sure there are clear differences between the positional/line people - 12 stormtroopers/Evee’s/Goku’s look lovely but mean nothing to a lot of people :)

TEAM BUILDING:

Starting Gold and Star Player Point (SPP)

Tier 1: 1100k & 36 SPP
Tier 2: 1110k & 42 SPP
Tier 3: 1120k & 50 SPP

Tier 4: 1130k & 56 SPP Tier 5: 1140k & 64 SPP Tier 6: 1150k & 70 SPP

You can spend spp according to the rulebook, but no random skills or characteristic improvements are allowed.

You are only allowed to take two extra skills on the same player.

You are only allowed to “stack” on 1 player for tier 1-2, 2 players for tier 3-4 and 3 players for tier 5-6.

Unspent gold and star player points are lost.
You have to field 11 players before hiring a star player.

You can’t choose more than 4 from the same skill while spending star player points. If your team already has at least 4 from the same skill after buying your players (including star players) but before spending your skill points you CAN’T have more of that skill.
i.e.: A dark elf coach bought 4 blitzers and 2 witch elfs, thus they can only give out two more dodge before reaching the limit of 4 dodges total. Since they already have at least 4 blocks on the roster they cannot give out any more.

You are not allowed to purchase bribes if your team adds either sneaky git or dirty player (or a star player with one of those skills) to the roster.

Optional packs (may choose one):

A: “Quantity over quality”: you can exchange 2 spp for 10k gold up to 5 times (gaining you a maximum of 50k gold for 10 spp)

B: “Training camp”: get extra 6 spp but you lose 30k gold. If you choose this pack, you are only allowed to “stack” on 1 less player (f.e. High Elves only allowed to stack on 1 of their players).

C: “Center of attention”: your team can hire star players but lose 8 spp for star players costing up to 120k, 14 spp for star players costing 121-260k, 20 spp for star players costing more than 260k.

The following star players are banned and cannot be hired by any team:
Morg, Griff, Skitter, Hakflem, Bomber, Cindy, Zzharg, Estelle, Dribl & Drull, Deeproot, Kreek, Varag, Hthark. All almanac releases: Jordell, Anqi Panqi, Jeremiah, Swiftvine, Maple, Guffle.
