BROTHER’S IN ARMS - A Middle earth SBG doubles event (29/06/24)

Incom Gaming introduces a new series of middle earth events starting with a doubles event!

Grab you favourite partner to come roll dice in the realm of Middle Earth S.B.G.

Entry £20 per team

List building:

• Players must each assemble as 500 point “force” that together will make a 1000 point army (these points cannot be shared between forces).


• All armies must be selected from official Games Workshop publications. Where unit entries or rules have been updated, either in a book or an official FAQ, the later version will always be the one used.


• Both players must take a hero of fortitude or higher.


• Teams cannot take legendary legions.


• Each Player can only make a force from one army list. Eg you cannot make a 500 point list with some barad-dur, some Serpent Horde and some Isengard. Just 1 faction per list.


• Bow limit is calculated for each force individually. Not the whole army.

For this event the ally’s matrix is ignored, instead the following two rules are in effect:

1. Forces of good armies consider every other force of good army historical allies.

2. Forces of evil armies consider every other force of Evil army historical allies.

(Note: In regard to some situations where units or characters make all other allies impossible such as Helm Hammerhand and Balin. These are ignored for this event.)

Overall leader of the army is chosen as normal based of highest hero’s heroic tier. Any rules that states a model must be your leader, has to be followed. In the case where two models are brought with this rule, players may choose who will be the army’s leader, we recommend taking a narrative approach to this decision.

Break point is worked out across the entire army rather than each individual force.

Timetable:

• Registration: 08:30 - 09:00


• Game 1:         09:20 - 11:40


• Game 2:         12:00 - 14:20


• Lunch:            14:20 - 14:50


• Game 3:         15:00 - 15:20


• Awards:          15:30 onwards

Incom Gaming is a Licensed venue, I.D. is required to purchase alcohol. Only snacks & beverages purchased* from Incom Gaming may be consumed on the premesis.

We offer a lunch option at day events, a freshly prepared Burrito made to order and a drink from the bar, details will be provded on the day.

*Exceptions to our food & drinks policy are hot drinks from take out coffee outlets and beverages in paper cups included in meal deals from fast food outlets are allowed.

Refunds and transfers can ONLY be processed directly through us at Incom Gaming, please DO NOT buy anything through a third party as this will result in you turning up for an event without a space allocated.
